back in Norway again :)

Thu Jun 5, 2008, 11:57 AM
With lots of inspiration....

wow... strange experience.... never though that speaking english would get me so much great service as opposed to speaking the native language in a country. It was like two different worlds of attention... (Really weird)

Have taken lots and lots of photos, o I'm bound to have at the least one decent among them.... have to check them out first ofcourse ;)

Take care all ;)

that's awesome, it's such a beautiful language ... you're doing better than me though, 9 months there and i'm not fluent. though it was a serious mission getting everyone to speak faroese to me, they're all so fluent in english. i used to love talking to old people and little kids, we'd have really fun miming conversations!

you probably should.

I am somewhat not to blame for my "fluent" faroese... I have my mother to blame for that ;) and my faroese half of my family ;)

sjalvandi! haha. it's not the kind of place you can only go once. plus i have an entire class in studentaskulin that i miss awfully. people in new zealand are so unlike the faroese. much less happy. that amazed me, how they're so happy! it's so dark in the winter and the weather is usually horrible and the place is so little, but they're alwas, always happy. I miss that most I think. but from what i've heard, it's much the same across scandinavia.
